Bicycling is a popular way to enjoy our locale and our extensive bike lanes, trails, and great weather make it a practical method of getting around. Nearby Scenic 30A offers 17-miles of paved bike path and beautiful scenery to both the casual and serious cyclist.

Boating is in our blood and if it floats—from inner tubes to yachts—you’ll find it here. The Gulf of Mexico, St. Andrews Bay, and rare coastal dune lakes provide a full-range of boating experiences. Kayaks and stand-up paddle boards are favorites and offer an easy and inexpensive way to get out on the water. Panama City Beach is home to dozens of marinas that provide boat sales, maintenance, docking, storage, and rentals.
Diving
Panama City Beach’s diving is so good, the U.S. Navy trains its divers here! From SCUBA diving shipwrecks to snorkeling the area’s many artificial reefs, opportunities are plentiful for every skill level and budget.

The city is home to not one, but two public fishing piers that offer both beginners and pros easy access to deeper waters and bring species like tarpon, King mackerel, and cobia within reach. Several fishing rodeos draw fisherman from throughout the Southeast every year.
Nature
Panama City Beach is a nature lover’s paradise. Our area is ringed by several state parks, the Gulf of Mexico, and St. Andrews Bay. Bottlenose dolphins, sea turtles, alligators, black bears, and hundreds of species of migratory birds all call our area home. The area is a bird watcher’s and nature photographer’s paradise and offers ample opportunities for day hikers.

With our namesake Pier Park just a short walk away, endless shopping opportunities are at your fingertips. This “city within a city” features hundreds of shops, restaurants, theaters, arcades, and it’s own amusement park. Your favorite grocery, department, and discount super-stores are close at hand as well.

Hundreds of restaurants are close-at-hand and multiple online restaurant delivery services are available. Fine dining, seafood, and fast food styles are all well-represented by both local proprietors and national chains. You’ll never run out of new places to try in Panama City Beach. Nightlife
Panama City Beach is home to many bars, nightclubs, and music venues, and has a strong local music scene. The city hosts several large music festivals and concerts throughout the year including Pepsi’s world-famous Gulf Coast Jam. Nearby Aaron Bessant Park features an outdoor amphitheater hosting weekly concerts.

Athletics
Residents of Pier Park Crossings have direct private access to neighboring Frank Brown Park. This extensive athletics complex features tennis, basketball, and shuffleboard courts, softball, soccer, football, and basketball courts, playground, indoor gym, a youth freshwater fishing pond, dog park, walking and bicycling trails, and picnic grounds with covered shelters. The park’s aquatic complex features outdoor pools.
